Girls weekend

Quick follow-up to the last post: Jen missed her flight! But she made it into the 'ham at 8:45 and didn't miss too much.

We started the weekend with pizza, wine, a little LRC and made ice cream sundae's.

There was carving and that's really all I'm going to say

Then we had a fabulous brunch made by Lisa, Les, and Allison. It was super yummy, and included one of my favorite drinks-mimosas!

My friends are amazing and they know me so well. Check out all of my (our) fabulous monogrammed items. I love them all!

There were a few hours at the pool, but I adopted the Winter ladies policy of no swimsuit pictures. :)

Then Randy hosted a fabulous wine tasting for a few of us. It was fun, the wine was great and the food was just right.

The first and third wines were my favs!

We then moved on to a Low Country Boil hosted by Patti and Tom. The food was fabulous, the drinks were yummy, there was more LRC playing and lots a laughter!

Sunday morning Randy cooked us breakfast (with homemade biscuits-even my mom doesn't make homemade biscuits anymore!) and we enjoyed more mimosas. After some fun with Mrs. K, Peggy, and Jen cleaning out some of Mrs. K's stuff from Jr. High and Sr. High school-we found some pretty funny stuff! We then hit up Jim 'n Nicks so Jen could get some good BBQ and then dropped Jen and Mrs. K off at the airport.

It was more fun than I could have ever imagined. We had a fabulous progressive party around B'ham, and I think we should try to get together every year for a girls weekend! Love you all!
