Thursday Thoughts

1. This post is for Mrs. K. Who says that I haven't "updated in foreva." She's right.
2. Life's been hard recently. Bad anniversaries, new bad things to create new bad anniversaries.
3. Tilly is so big now. I'm thinking close to 20 pounds.
4. Cody has Senioritis.
5. Mr. Brock has a new principal and has a man crush on him.
6. I got enough money for Christmas to get my new camera, but then we got some bills :( Being an adult sucks some times!
7. I had some yummy chocolate truffles from Chocolate Gem in Black Mountain, NC, but they made me wish I could go back to this little place I found in Sonoma this summer. Oh my goodness, the truffles were AMAZING!
8. I never posted anything about our honeymoon. Darby inspired me to do that today, apparently it's still ok six months later.
9. My back went out sometime between going to bed last night and getting up this morning. Between a 6 hour car ride yesterday, sleeping on a crappy bed the 3 previous nights, and sitting for over 2 hours on pews "older than my grandmother" (if you don't understand then you've probably never been to Montreat) my back revolted.
10. I have so many blog posts in my head, and I just need to get them done.
11. I'm excited about the next few weekends. This weekend= no plans=so exciting! Then I'm going to see Mrs. K in Richmond MLK weekend. I'm hoping it snows so we can play! But not so much that we're stuck inside all weekend. Then the weekend after that I'm going to play with my friends in Opelika! We're having a "sprinkle" for Mrs. M and Baby Boy M.
12. I need a job.
13. I can't end on the number thirteen.
14. I would appreciate it if y'all would support Mr. Brock and I as we start couch to 10k. We were supposed to start today, but my back pushed us back a few days. I want to run the "Wild Irish Run" here in G-ville in March. I've never been a runner so I hope I can pull this off!

  1. You can totally do the running thing. You just have to take it slow and stretch...a lot. Are there any 5ks nearby in btwn now and then? That would build your confidence and set a smaller goal. We will run when you're in Richmond...Katelyn and I ran last night! :)
    mwah!
