A few weeks ago, during my fall break, after a visit to the Junction I headed to Opelika.
We had a fun dinner at Laredo's, and then headed to downtown Opelika for On the Tracks, a wine tasting event. In the past we've gotten a table, had a bunch of people, and had a blast. This year though the organizers changed the rules on us- allowing only 10 people at a table, no outside food, no outside chairs, no outside drinks. You had to buy everything from them. Well this left us with only 7 people for wine tasting, instead of the normal 12-15 we used to have. So it was the organizers loss. We had a big group for dinner though, and we had a good time despite the disruption of our usual plans :)

This made me laugh, and is so very true!

Some folks were handing out these fliers for the "Bachelors 2010" event. Rachel was handed one, and we got a good laugh out of it. Then it was pointed out to us that they even "handed the pregnant lady one." I guess these bachelors will take the married ladies or the single ones, they weren't going to hate on anyone!

We had a fun night, and I hope we can do it again. But I'm suggesting that next time we just get the cute wine guy to come do a private tasting for us. That way we can eat and drink whatever we want, and anyone can come! Plus it'll be cheaper :) You the frugal part of me needed to come out in this post.
