Game Day!

We went to see our Auburn Tigers take Arkansas State yesterday. We all had a blast! Dad2 secured tickets for all 5 of us on Friday. T and J were so excited when we told them, and even more so when we told them they would get to see their friend Trevor.

I was able to visit with several friends, and have some fun at our tailgate. We're hoping to get to go again this season if we can find tickets again.

Spirit was the eagle that flew into Jordan-Hare Stadium yesterday. It flew right over Mr. Brock and Teddy (they had seats in the lower deck, but moved up with us for the second half). Such an awesome tradition.

The Auburn Marching Band and their interlocking AU. J told me they had just enough band members to make the AU perfectly.

The Tigers taking the field.

After a, "TOUCHDOWN AUBURN!"

We're trying to bring Cody around to the orange and blue side, and I think we did a great job of it yesterday. Falyn-keep your comments to yourself ;)
I believe his quote was something along these lines, "It was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!"

  1. I was typing before I even got to my name. If you aren't concerned about the child's soul then why should I be;) The pictures would be nice if it weren't for all the orange and blue yuckiness. Yesterday, mid AL game, Joy stated, "We don't like the orange team..never the orange team. (insert long pause) We don't like the yellow team either. ONLY THE RED TEAM." Then she said later on..."Sometimes we like the White team, right?!" Bless her little Alabama Crimson Tide Lov'n heart. I could just eat her with a spoon:)

Glad you had fun. I love you despite your orange and blue yuckiness.

Cam Newton is a beast! He's a tiger of a quarterback, grrrrr (remember the J&M bookstore commercials?) :-)
Congrats on getting married, knew y'all were dating but had no idea!
Very happy for both of you!
    Peace,

  3. oh and like the blog and glad you changed the background. I'm all about orange and blue but dang that orange was making it hard to read, especially for an old man (34) like me, ha
