week in review

-so they say the first week of nursing school the instructors try to scare you, well they do it quite well.
-I got to see my Momma twice this week, she was here for work.
-Mr. Brock needs a haircut...bad!
-Tiger is loving her 20 min. morning walks-I've got to finish her outside area, so she's been staying inside all day this week. So the morning walk is a must to keep her from destroying various items.
-I'm enjoying the morning walks too. I'll probably be extending them in the future, but I needed to get used to getting up way early first.
-My family loved the fried okra I cooked Wed. night, we're having more tonight.
-The Kinda Kid had a great birthday party last friday night, I think he had a totally rockin' 17th birthday (minus the wisdom teeth extraction).
-I like my clinical instructor.
-I've got to have a hearing test to "protect myself." I have hearing loss in both ears and I have trouble hearing when I take blood pressures. And when they test you on taking BP they use this goofy double headed stethoscope which really dilutes the sounds, but lets them know if you are getting the correct BP. So I can't hear with those things and have to file something with the Students with Disabilities office. Crazy huh? But I don't want to fail the class because I can't hear when I'm tested on BP.
-I've got to figure out how I'm going to study: the best time, place, way, etc...
-I miss my friends, and I'm afraid/know I won't get to see them very much.
-I've almost single-handedly devoured what was left of the Kinda Kid's birthday cake. I was so yummy!
-I've only had like 4 diet cokes in the last 3 weeks-go me!
