Neighborhood Beauties

Just wanted to show you a few pictures of what I see when I walk out the front door.

And this is the view when they walk out of their own front door. Isn't it spectacular. I learned that the white bushes are Bridal Veil Spirea-I think I shall have some one day!

And these are from some of our neighbor's mother's prize winning Iris'. They are my all time favorite flower.

I wish you could see them in person, they are huge. I guess I should have put my hand next to them for perspective. These were just taken with my point and shoot, so I might see what my fancier camera can do. I just think they are gorgeous!

And this is the house we're going to be getting married at-which happens to be the house where the lovely Iris' live. It's pretty too, huh?

I hope you all enjoy the weekend! J and T are here, and my mom's coming up in the morning. She's bringing me a sour cream pound cake too--yummy, also my favorite type of cake!

  1. LOVELY! And I've always known the lovely white flowering stuff as bridal wreath spirea - same stuff, probably regional names!
