On the Cheap

So Mr. Brock and I try to save money where we can. One of these places is on his haircuts. We bought a trimmer thingie last summer and have done all of his hair cuts since then at home. Well he likes his hair long and the last time I just cleaned up his neck and ears. Well that doesn't really work, because all of his hair started to be the same length.

So tonight we decided it needed a trim, and then we just decided to go with the 1 inch guard since I didn't really know what I was doing. That went well. Then it was time to trim up around the ears, and his neck. And this happened...


I've always "freestyled" around his ears, and decided to use the ear guard thingie tonight. As you can see it didn't work out very good for us! Yeah, he has really short hair now, and sadly he doesn't look that great with really short hair :( I feel terrible, but I can be thankful that it wasn't right before our wedding-which he will be going to a professional before that!!

Ahh, gotta love a day around here.
